First time back with the new owners and chef and wow, Pumpernickel’s did not disappoint. The scallop appetizer was the star, I would highly recommend. We both got the boar burger and the blueberry ketchup and smoked Gouda accouterments were delicious. Can’t wait to have again. Also had the soup of the day, cream of mushroom, after learning that the mushrooms were from a local purveyor. I haven’t been in in awhile, but now I can’t wait to come back. We even chatted about brunch and I can’t wait to try the cinnamon roll French toast! Cheers to new menus, a new chef, a great waitress, great cocktails and a cozy atmosphere.
